You might know us for cleaning, our bread'n'butter. But we are in this game for the social impact we can have at scale by creating real jobs and caring for people. Sometimes it requires bold moves and being vocal about certain topics and issues—we are proud not to shy away from the task. Check out some of our endeavours over the years below.
Cleaning is a peculiar thing. The wheels of our society would stop spinning without it. Nothing would work. Hospitals, schools, stores, libraries, households, elderly care, you name it—it would all be a mess, literally and figuratively. Yet, often that work and those performing it go unseen, taken for granted.

We ran this OOH media campaign in Finland in shopping malls and some huge outdoor billboards to show people working in the cleaning industry that we appreciate them. Our mission as a company is to revolutionize the industry and raise the recognition of the cleaning profession to a new standard.
We launched a campaign that enabled us to contribute towards helping people who are suffering from the war. Our cleaners and office workers contributed through their important work, and our amazing customers contributed by purchasing one-off home cleanings: and we donated 100 % of the profits directly to UNICEF.
We had a goal of donating a minimum of 15 000 € to support children and families affected by the war in Ukraine and across the world. Thanks to our community, we were able to donate a total of 23 380 € to UNICEF. We are beyond grateful to everyone who helped make this happen.
We got fed up with the racist rhetoric around the topic of immigration before the municipal elections in 2021. At Freska we employ more than 1000 people who come from more than 60 countries, so it is our responsibility to take part in the discussion.
We bought this outdoor billboard outside the HQ of a certain party championing the discriminatory agenda. Our goal was to shine a positive light on immigration employment and to show our support to all the unique, valuable and amazing individuals trying to make it in a new home country.

In Norway, the lion's share of home cleanings are bought from the illegal black market and this poses an abundance of problems: No one is responsible for the black market cleaners' working conditions, well-being, job security and human rights. Norway is also losing out on a ton of tax revenue in the process. Freska is on a mission to clean up the stained industry in Norway, to create real jobs with safe working conditions and well-being.
